you basically take a medium size paper and fold it a bunch of times. then you write the name of the work on the front page, and for back i like recommending some good songs. then do whatever you like on the other 30 or so pages. the world is your oyster, the skys the limit.

really, a pen and paper costs next to nothing. you must have used it in school even if youre generation alpha or beta. if not, go to your local grocery store, it will cost pennies at most $5.

with writing by hand, especially if youre bilingual, writing speed can actually be faster than finding different symbols in charmap.exe or searching "unicode eth" whatever online. you can also variate the fontsize however you want without going into options in whatever program you use.

then if you want to digitalize it, your best option is what we called a "scanner". they could do VERY high resolution, im talking 100 megapixels, even in the mid 1990s, and surely now if you get a dedicated one youll get 32bpc 1 gigapixel. do scan it without upscampling, your computer will chug, then resample it down. real good for cd covers or even vinyl covers, it will just be so much flawless detail and contrast in it.

i used these before i got a digital camera from my granddad in 2002. they basically only costed 2000kr 200$ even back then. and you can scan objects too! once i scanned an accidentally melted cheeze, also for stones and minerals even feathers its real cool. also check out tori amos record "from the choirgirl hotel", there she scanned her body she was ahead of her time, on the cover and in the cd booklet.

hdrdrc check the processed pics and jpgs in 100% for comparison of image quality, saved as 1x1x1 100% quality jpg in 3500^2 pixel mode.

if you mess up or the colours look bad no matter what, reduce curves in 16bit or 32bit mode with lowering of white point and heightening black point, then a simple hue change to orange with low saturation for that oldskool sepia look, remember to convert to 8bit for viewing on screen and so your image doesnt look messed up online and the filesize gets too high.

try developing the original 32bits per channel image with a giclee printshop it will look better than even hdr screens with burning oranges and deep violet blues.
