hdrdrc check the processed pics and jpgs in 100% for comparison of image quality, saved as 1x1x1 100% quality jpg in 3500^2 pixel mode.
if you mess up or the colours look bad no matter what, reduce curves in 16bit or 32bit mode with lowering of white point and heightening black point, then a simple hue change to orange with low saturation for that oldskool sepia look, remember to convert to 8bit for viewing on screen and so your image doesnt look messed up online and the filesize gets too high.
try developing the original 32bits per channel image with a giclee printshop it will look better than even hdr screens with burning oranges and deep violet blues.
in sweden we have konstexpo in stockholm https://www.konstexpo.com/ i have done a few prints with them, the dream would be a cd cover this way i dont think its ever been done, you can pay them extra for images that look alive like you can touch them. real nice folks its 2 brothers actually.
high dynamic range imaging, dynamic range compression, tone mapping, kid gone crazy with crayons, infrared, real estate photography, scientific photography
https://sourceforge.net/projects/qtpfsgui/ FOSS
https://www.hdrsoft.com/download/photomatix-pro.html free for hdr tif etc images, can use luminance hdr to get full res. there are many other hdr processors even FOSS look around, some cannot put together images so again use photomatix in intermediate hdr mode.
